The shape of this sculture is a Square Ding, 鼎. Ding is a symbol of the state power in ancient times. Ding also means flourishing and invigorating. Chinese people have profound emotion with Ding for thousands of years.
Each side of this sculpture is composed of the strokes of 華（China）, and with a sphere inside the square work. You will see a traditional Chinese character 華（China） from four sides of this sculpture which designed with abstract method by the sculptor.
By integrating the visual effects and spirit meanings of 華 and 鼎，this work shows the Heyday of China in a morden art language.
